Sinus pain and pressure can be frustrating and make you feel weakened. It can be distressing as it not only causes pain around your sinus area but it can also feel like there is pressure around your whole head region.

What causes Sinus pain?

When you have a cold or flu the blood vessels lining your nose and sinuses may become inflamed. This can leave you feeling like there is pressure on your sinuses and also painful.

What are the symptoms of sinus pain?

Sinus pain and pressure is associated with pain in the cheekbones, forehead, or bridge of the nose. The pain can intensify with sudden head movement or straining. The pain is often accompanied by other sinus symptoms, such as nasal discharge, feeling of fullness in the ears, fever, and facial swelling.

 

How to ease the symptoms?

Ensure you also treat your body well to help you get better faster by:

  • Getting plenty of rest and staying comfortably warm
  • Drinking plenty of water and non-alcoholic fluids
  • Eating regular, healthy meals
