WHAT IS IBUPROFEN? WHAT DO I USE IBUPROFEN FOR?

Ibuprofen is a NSAID (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug) - the term used for a group of medications that have pain relieving and anti-inflammatory properties. It works at the source of pain by blocking the production of the chemicals (called prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation in the tissues of the body. Salt formats of ibuprofen such as sodium and lysine are modified versions of the NSAID. They are both more water soluble compared to standard ibuprofen, so they help the painkiller to breakdown in the body faster.

Nurofen Express Tablets contains this modified NSAID and is effective for mild to moderate pain including headache, fever, neuralgia. It is also effective on pains such as dental pain, period pain, rheumatic pain, muscular pain and backache.
